You are within an easy drive of Cradle Mountain, the unique attractions of the Deloraine area, the Central Highland Lakes, or Woolmers and the Australian Rose Garden at Longford. The Wine trail on the Tamar is an enjoyable drive or you could take a day trip on "The Odyssy", maybe visit the Seahorse Farm at Beauty Point and the delights in between


Entally House
The most historic of the Trust houses, Entally in Hadspen is thought to have been built in 1819 by Thomas Haydock Reibey.


Liffey Falls
drive - turn right at the farm entrance and follow the tourist route signs - it is an hour walk from the car park and a delightful, easy rain forest walk beside the river.


Deloraine Museum
Dates from 1856 and includes exhibition gallery, Alma Bramich Garden, dairy, blacksmith's shop and vehicles shed. Open daily 9am - 5pm


Anvers Chocolate Factory
The total chocolate experience. Tastings and sales of specialty chocolate truffles, fudges and pralines. Enjoy a snack in the cafe or in the beautiful gardens which surround the property.

Cradle Mountain
There are many superb short walks from the centre and the Dove Lake car park.
It is also the northern gateway to the Overland Track linking Cradle Valley to Lake St Clair, 4 - 5 days walk

The White House Museum
is a world class museum and has as well as house contents a bicycle car and toy museum- check out the fully equipped as of the 1800's to the minutest detail dolls house.


The Westbury Maze
made from 3000 bushes with 2 metre high sides and its paths cover a distance of over 1 kilometre, is a real test and you can reward yourself with afternoon tea afterwards.


Pearn's Steam World
has over 100 steam engines ranging from trains to complex pieces of agricultural equipment. It is reputedly the largest collection of steam engines in Australia.


St Andrews Church
on the precinct of the Village Green are quite unique and of course the Green and Town Common are so historical - lovely for a picnic and a walk - take a copy of the tear off Historical Westbury map, take a tour and learn of the history here.
